Papaya Puree

This tropical delight may be enjoyed by both adults and babies nine months and older!

Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 ripe papayas, cut in half and seeded

Directions

  1. Cut papayas into thirds before cooking. Place papaya slices in a steamer basket set in a pot of boiling water.
  2. Cover the pot tightly and simmer for seven minutes or until tender.
  3. Cool papaya, then scrape the cooked papaya from its skin and puree in a food processor.

Suggestions

Serve on its own or on top of ice cream or with plain yogurt.
